On the Thai armed forces or the aircraft of the air arms I'm very interested. Outside of Thailand there are very little known about the history the planes of the Royal Thai Air Force, Royal Thai Navy or Royal Thai Army.
It is my goal to describe the armed forces of Thailand and also the history of the forces and the land. Thailand is one of the only country's that are able to stay free and hold its independence. The development of aircrafts in Thailand begun in 1911 and Thailand maintained a independent way. .
Under RTAF is the history of the Royal Thai Air Force from the beginning to today. The RTAF has a interesting Museum in Bangkok which has very unique airplanes of the RTAF. Under RTN I describe the history of the Royal Thai Navy. The Navy has a Museum in Samut Prakan, and a historic Park around the Thai Ship HTMS Mehklong on the other side of the river.. Besides the Air Force and Navy Thailand has the RTA (Royal Thai Army) with a flying component. Even more unusual is the long history of the Police Aviation whish has also her own Museum in Bangkok. The Kaset at last is a part of the agikulturalministery an has a flying component with own planes. Under Orbat I have the Order of Battle of the Air Force and the Navy posted.
Note: Most of the pages are still in German, but I translate it into English |
